Whether you rent a bike or list yours, every step of your experience is framed and secured.
Verified identity
Every member must verify their identity via Stripe Identity before booking, listing or accepting a rental. Le Peloton never stores identity documents or selfies: they are processed exclusively by Stripe.
Secure payment
All payments go exclusively through Stripe, a certified provider. Le Peloton never stores your bank details.
Bank deposit
The deposit is a separate bank authorization: it is not charged at the time of blocking. It is released if no dispute is opened, or may be captured in whole or in part after a motivated decision by Le Peloton.
Pickup and return codes
Each handover and each return of a bike is validated by a 6-digit single-use code, to avoid any misunderstanding between the two parties.
Freedom to accept or decline
Each owner remains entirely free to accept or decline a booking request, without justification.
Dispute management
In case of damage or disagreement, a dispute can be opened with evidence. Le Peloton reviews the case adversarially; the first response target is 72 hours, without guaranteeing a decision within that time.
No off-platform payment
All transactions go exclusively through Le Peloton, for your security and the owner's.
Protected personal data
Your information is protected and shared only with users, providers or authorities when necessary for the service, based on a legal ground and described in the Privacy Policy.
